Dr. Vince Clinical Research is the leading clinical research organization for Human Abuse Potential (HAP) studies. These studies rely on subjective ratings from participants who are experienced with the drug class of interest to determine abuse potential. Every HAP study at DVCR is conducted and monitored by well-trained staff with experience administering Visual Analog Scales to capture participants’ subjective ratings. These ratings allow the effects of drugs to be accurately measured.
This video is Part 3 of our Human Abuse Potential Study Series. Hear from Rose Gerringer, Ratings Manager, as she discusses HAP subjective ratings, factors that might influence participants’ ratings and proper data collection measures. Stay tuned for additional videos where we continue to showcase what makes DVCR the leading CRO for human abuse potential studies.
