Human Abuse Potential: Participant Safety

As the leading CRO for Human Abuse Potential (HAP) studies, Dr. Vince Clinical Research has significant operational expertise in the conduct of these complex clinical trials where volunteer safety is paramount. Our clinical safety team is comprised of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified paramedics and nurses. Each member of this team possesses considerable knowledge of the oversight required for the safe conduct of human abuse potential trials. Our site is equipped with cardiac telemetry and continuous pulse oximetry monitoring equipment, which can be used as required per protocol.

This video is Part 5 of our Human Abuse Potential Study Series. Hear from Justin Couture, Director of Clinical Operations, as he discusses DVCR’s staffing structure and on-site equipment, treatment of adverse events and IV/IM dosing.  Stay tuned for additional videos where we continue to showcase what makes DVCR the leading contract research organization for HAP studies.
